Terms of Service

Effective date: May 2026 Version 1.0 HamptonTCI Limited
These terms cover access to the FinCore platform only. They apply when you purchase founding platform access, use any FinCore free tools, or visit fincore.work. They do not cover bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory engagements with HamptonTCI — those are governed by separate written contracts.

1Who you are contracting with

FinCore and CorpDoc are brands of HamptonTCI Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong ("HamptonTCI", "we", "us", "our"). Your sole contractual counterparty for all platform access, rights, obligations, disclaimers, and liabilities under these Terms is HamptonTCI Limited.

By purchasing platform access, creating an account, or using any FinCore tool, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the platform.

If you are purchasing on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2What you are purchasing

Founding platform access

The current purchase is a one-time payment for permanent access to Version 1 (V1) of the FinCore operating platform. This includes all Operator-tier tools available within V1 as they are released throughout the V1 programme — no subscription, no recurring charge, no upgrades required for V1 tools.

Founding access is permanent for the V1 platform and toolset. Future versions of the platform (V2 onwards) are separate products and are not included in this purchase. They will be offered under separate pricing when available.

Founding member upgrade commitment: As a founding member, you will be offered the opportunity to purchase access to any future version of the FinCore platform at a preferential price. This is a commercial commitment to founding members — the specific price and timing will be communicated directly when future versions become available.
What is included
  • Access to all Operator-tier diagnostic tools available within V1
  • All tools added to V1 as the programme completes — no additional payment required
  • Login credentials delivered to your registered email address after purchase confirmation
What is not included
  • Professional financial advice, accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll services
  • Strategist-tier tools (separate tier, separate pricing)
  • V2 or future platform versions
  • Any service delivered by a human advisor — FinCore is a self-serve digital platform only

3Payment

The founding access price is as stated on the FinCore pricing page at the time of purchase. All prices are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy, our third-party payment provider. HamptonTCI does not store your payment card details. By completing a purchase you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service and privacy policy.

All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes including VAT, GST, and sales tax. Where applicable, tax will be calculated and added at checkout. You bear all currency conversion risks and any associated bank fees where your payment currency differs from USD.

Platform access is activated once payment is confirmed by Lemon Squeezy and credentials are delivered to your registered email address.

4Cooling-off and refunds

General policy: Founding platform access is non-refundable once purchased. Platform access is a digital product granted immediately upon payment confirmation.

UK and EU consumers — statutory cooling-off right: If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason. By ticking the consent box at checkout confirming that you wish to receive immediate access to the platform, you acknowledge that the service has begun with your agreement before the cooling-off period expires and that your right to cancel without charge is accordingly lost once access has been granted. If you have not yet accessed the platform and wish to exercise your cooling-off right within 14 days of purchase, contact us at legal@hamptontci.com before accessing your credentials.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction. If you are uncertain about your rights, seek independent legal advice.

5Free tools

FinCore makes free diagnostic tools and financial calculators available at no charge via the tools section of fincore.work. These are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

  • Data stays on your device: All calculations are performed in your browser. We do not store, receive, or see any numbers or results you enter
  • No professional advice: Free tool outputs are not financial, accounting, legal, or tax advice — see section 6
  • No warranty: Free tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose
  • No redistribution: You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense any free tool or its outputs to any third party for commercial purposes

6No professional advice

FinCore is a self-serve digital platform. Nothing on fincore.work, and no output from any FinCore tool — free or paid — constitutes financial advice, accounting advice, tax advice, legal advice, investment advice, or any other form of regulated professional advice.

All tool outputs are projections based solely on the figures you enter. Actual outcomes may differ materially. You agree not to make financial or business decisions based solely on FinCore tool outputs.

These tools are not certified for regulatory compliance including tax, audit, or financial reporting purposes. You may not rely on them for any compliance obligation.

For decisions that affect your business materially, consult a qualified professional licensed in your jurisdiction.

7Your account and credentials

Platform access is personal to you or the entity named on your order. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

  • You may not share your credentials with any other person or entity
  • You may not sell, transfer, or assign your platform access to any third party
  • You must notify us immediately at legal@hamptontci.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account
  • HamptonTCI is not liable for any loss arising from your failure to keep credentials secure
  • We reserve the right to audit account access and to suspend access where unauthorised use is identified

8Licence grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of all applicable fees, HamptonTCI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the FinCore platform and tools solely for your own internal business purposes during the period your access remains active.

This licence covers:

  • Platform access: access to the FinCore Operator-tier dashboard, tools, and reporting interfaces
  • Methodology tools: digital implementations of FinCore's proprietary diagnostic frameworks and calculators
  • Templates and digital assets: any downloadable outputs or platform-hosted materials expressly designated for your use

This licence does not permit reproduction, adaptation, distribution, reverse engineering, or sublicensing of any FinCore platform, tool, or methodology. It terminates automatically upon any material breach of these Terms or upon termination of your access.

No ownership of the platform, tools, or any outputs passes to you. Tool outputs are licensed for your internal use only — see section 10.

9Permitted and prohibited use

Permitted use

You may use the platform solely to:

  • Access, run, and review diagnostic tools and outputs for your own business
  • Use tool outputs to inform your own internal business decisions
  • Download or export outputs expressly made available for download
Prohibited use

You must not, whether directly or through any third party:

  • Reproduce or redistribute any tool, platform, or its underlying architecture
  • Reverse engineer — decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code, logic, or algorithms
  • White-label or rebrand any FinCore tool or output as your own product or service
  • Sublicense or resell — grant access to, resell, or commercialise the platform or any tool to any third party
  • Benchmark or compete — use the platform or tools to develop a competing product or service
  • Scrape or extract data using automated means beyond what is expressly permitted
  • Circumvent security — bypass any access control, authentication, or digital rights management feature
  • Violate any law in connection with your use of the platform
  • Transmit harmful code including viruses, malware, or anything designed to damage or disrupt any system
  • Misrepresent affiliation with or endorsement by FinCore or HamptonTCI

Violation of any of the above is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access without refund.

10Intellectual property

HamptonTCI Limited retains full and exclusive ownership of all FinCore platform tools, calculators, methodologies, frameworks, software, content, and visual design (collectively "FinCore IP"). Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of FinCore IP to you.

Tool outputs — the results generated by running the diagnostic tools on your own data — are licensed to you for your own internal business use only. You may not share tool outputs with any third party who will place reliance on them without first notifying that third party in writing that the output was produced by a self-serve digital tool and may not be relied upon as professional advice.

HamptonTCI may use anonymised, aggregated, and non-identifiable data derived from platform usage for benchmarking, research, and improvement of the platform's methodology. No personally identifiable information or client-specific data will be disclosed in any way that identifies you without your prior written consent.

11Suspension and termination

HamptonTCI may suspend or permanently revoke your access to the platform immediately and without liability if:

  • You commit a material breach of these Terms, including any prohibited use under section 9
  • We have reasonable suspicion of unauthorised access, misuse, or security breach
  • You enter insolvency, administration, receivership, or any equivalent process
  • Continuation would expose HamptonTCI to legal, regulatory, reputational, or ethical risk

Effect of termination: All rights granted under these Terms cease immediately. You must stop using the platform and destroy any locally stored copies of FinCore IP. HamptonTCI has no obligation to provide data exports following termination for breach.

Voluntary termination: If you choose to stop using the platform, your access rights simply lapse. No refund applies to a one-time access purchase.

Suspension or termination is without prejudice to any accrued rights or liabilities.

12Platform updates and discontinuation

HamptonTCI reserves the right to update, modify, enhance, or reconfigure any platform tool at any time. Minor updates and bug fixes may be made without notice. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes to the platform's functionality.

We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform. We will use reasonable endeavours to maintain platform availability.

Discontinuation of V1: If HamptonTCI decides to permanently discontinue V1 of the platform, we will provide not less than 60 calendar days' written notice. Where no comparable alternative is offered and you have a current founding access licence, you will not be charged any termination fee.

HamptonTCI is not in breach of these Terms where any failure to provide platform access arises from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including cyberattacks, third-party platform outages, internet infrastructure failure, acts of government, or natural events.

13Warranties and limitation of liability

Our warranties

HamptonTCI warrants that: (a) it has the right to grant the licences set out in these Terms; and (b) the platform will perform materially in accordance with its published description. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all other implied warranties are excluded.

Liability cap

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HamptonTCI's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to HamptonTCI in the twelve months preceding the claim. For a one-time founding access purchase, this cap equals the purchase price paid.

Exclusion of consequential loss

HamptonTCI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, or third-party claims — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

14Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HamptonTCI and its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Any prohibited use under section 9
  • Any violation of applicable law in connection with your use of the platform
  • Any third-party claim arising from your misuse of platform outputs

This indemnity survives termination of these Terms.

15Data protection and privacy

HamptonTCI processes your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By purchasing platform access or using any FinCore tool, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

The platform tools process financial data entirely within your browser. We do not receive, store, or see any numbers you enter into the diagnostic tools. Your purchase details (name and email) are processed to deliver your credentials and communicate about your account.

Acceptable Use Policy

This policy forms part of the FinCore Terms of Service and applies to all users of the platform and free tools.

Prohibited activities

You may not, nor may you permit any other person to, use the platform or tools in any manner that:

  • Violates any law or regulation, including data protection, tax, securities, or export control laws

  • Transmits harmful code including viruses, malware, ransomware, or spyware
  • Attempts unauthorised access by probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any FinCore system
  • Interferes with the platform by overloading infrastructure or launching denial-of-service attacks
  • Harvests or scrapes data using automated means without our express written permission
  • Reverse engineers, decompiles, or disassembles any FinCore software
  • Resells or commercialises platform access or tool outputs to any third party without our prior written consent

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • You may not share credentials with any person who is not you or an expressly authorised user of your entity
  • You may not sell, transfer, or assign your account or platform access to any third party
Consequences of violation

If HamptonTCI reasonably determines that you have violated this policy, we may: issue a written warning; temporarily suspend your access; permanently terminate your access without refund; pursue legal remedies including injunctive relief or damages; and/or report unlawful activity to relevant authorities.

Reporting violations

If you become aware of any violation of this policy, please report it immediately to legal@hamptontci.com.

17Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

UK and EU consumers: Clients who are consumers resident in the UK or EU may have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence under applicable consumer protection legislation, notwithstanding the exclusive jurisdiction clause above. HamptonTCI does not exclude or limit any such mandatory statutory rights.

18Amendments

HamptonTCI may amend these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will: (a) post the updated Terms on this page; and (b) notify you by email to your registered address. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. No amendment will reduce your accrued rights at the date of the amendment.

19General provisions

  • Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and HamptonTCI regarding the FinCore platform and supersede all prior discussions and agreements
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions remain in full force
  • No waiver: Failure to enforce any provision on any occasion is not a waiver of that right on any future occasion
  • Relationship: Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship. HamptonTCI is an independent provider of a digital platform
  • Assignment: You may not assign, transfer, or novate your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. HamptonTCI may assign its rights to any affiliate or successor entity on 30 calendar days' written notice
  • Notices: Formal notices under these Terms should be sent by email to legal@hamptontci.com (for HamptonTCI) or to your registered email address (for you). Notices are deemed received on the next business day after sending, provided no delivery failure is received
  • Survival: Sections 10 (IP), 13 (liability), 14 (indemnity), 16 (acceptable use), 17 (governing law), and any other provision expressed or by its nature intended to survive, shall survive termination of these Terms
